You are a Producer through-and-through and have managed projects from start to finish across a few focused project types. As a Producer at Instrument, you will thrive being a connective and influential force at the center of a multifaceted project workflow that enables the best work to be made. You understand how to execute a project to a brief and are learning how to bring your strategic voice to guide your client and project team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage digital, brand, design, or comms projects in a flexible multidisciplinary team environment, from kickoff through delivery, with strategic and iterative project approaches. 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day client management or support of client management (pending project complexity) to educate and guide clients through Instrument processes. The output of your efforts positions Instrument and the project team as a world-class agency by delivering the project to meet the client's business goals.
  • Responsible for performing early risk management exercises with Senior or EP level management to minimize project risks and ensure delivery excellence.
  • Helps teammates resolve blockers and complete tasks. Works to establish strong relationships across disciplines & teams. And partners with other disciplines to communicate status updates and set project priorities and goals.
  • Ensures project deliverables meet client goals and timeline deadlines, pivoting as needed when identified with EP/ED and/or other team lead collaboration.
  • Observes and contributes to the process of project accounting as a partner to project lead; tracking budget costs, hours, and reporting up to project leadership on overages/scope evolutions. You’ll be fluid and understand the nuances of scope changes and lead basic scope overage conversations including creative problem solving to managing the project and client satisfaction. 
  • You’ll be a contributor to team health and have a firm understanding of managing a project team. You’ll work with Senior or EP level management to understand and support performance issues and workshop possible solutions. Consistently moving the team forward, monitoring and supporting team health, and maintaining project momentum.
  • Creates, QAs, and contributes to client presentation and co-creation of project artifacts with the project team as lead or support as assigned to the project.
  • You’ll contribute to resourcing decisions by effectively communicating project needs, shifts, and overages, and can prioritize projects with stakeholders when demands exceed available resources. You’ll bring a solutions-oriented mindset to all resourcing conversations to ensure project success of all agency projects.
  • Facilitate easy communication and collaboration across disciplines within your project teams, providing an inclusive and integrated team that works together to solve problems and adjust accordingly.
  • Manage relationships and processes with partner vendors (including QA, localization, media, and production) and/or freelancers as an integrated part of the project team.
  • Bring your strategic point of view to the brief, team, and approach consistently asking questions to the team and client to deepen your understanding of the project and client rather than executing on the task solely as outlined as a key contributor to the success of the project. Not just a "get it done" -- but "how can this be better", "what does success look like", "is this innovative" mindset.

Pay Range

  • The expected pay range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 for our base US Region 3*. We have three regional pay ranges that are adjusted for cost of living (US1 +15%, US2 +7.5%, US3 Base), *learn more about our pay philosophy and cost of living adjustments.
